An amazing part of being in Greek life is giving back to charities and causes. Usually you’re required to wear your standards or pre-made shirts for the actual event, so it is hard to look cute and let your inner stylista shine through. This is where accessories can come in and help to individualize a little more. Whether it is your unique shoes, scarf, or an amazing pair of sunglasses, you are sure to stand out.
Sometimes the events are athletic, such as the “Kickball for a Kause” we had this fall that raised money for the Binghamton Boys and Girls Club (below). Finding a balance between comfy and cute was key because we had to run around! I would suggest easy hairstyles and comfy sweaters with leggings if you aren’t participating.
If you are participating, 1. You go girl! and 2. go with some colorful sneakers and athletic clothes. You don’t want to look like a fool trying to run around in boots! Philanthropies are a great way to raise money for good causes and get to know the Greek life at your school better. Why not look cute while helping change the world?
