Alpha Gams Rocking Neon and Tribal Trends at Serenades

One of Iowa State University Greek Community’s traditions is having the fraternity men serenade the sorority chapter’s new members after bid day. The men of each fraternity take turns singing and sometimes even playing instruments as a “welcome” to our community. Fortunately for those of us who are not new members anymore, still get to enjoy this awesome event. Along with any event where a sorority girl knows pictures will be taken, the perfect dress is a must.

For serenades my roommates and I rocked the neon and tribal summer trends with our sundresses. All the way on the left you can see me in an American Eagle lime green eyelet sundress with an Armed & Readi necklace. Megan, a sophomore in Kinesiology, is in the middle in a tribal print dress accented with a long gold triangle necklace. On the right side of the picture is Simone, a sophomore in Communication Studies, wearing a bold hot pink sundress from TJ Maxx.
