As summer approaches, It’s that time a year for interviews. Whether you are having a Skype or face-to-face interview, you should make sure you look the part! It’s so important to look professional but be comfortable and still fashionable at the same time.

Staying in your budget, you should be able to find a few basic pieces. A cute dress can be paired with a blazer, black tights, flats or heels. If you want a trendier look, you can throw on a leather jacket, instead of a blazer. Either looks work!

This Free People Dress is perfect for an interview! It is sophisticated, trendy, and comfortable. Make sure you are careful that the length of your dress isn’t too short. You can chose to wear tights or just go bare depending on the weather.

My personal preference is to wear flats to an interview just because they are much more comfortable and you definitely have a lesser chance of tripping over yourself. Especially if you plan on living in New York City this summer, it will be very difficult to walk around in heels. Again, whatever makes you comfortable!

For a Skype interview, I would suggest wearing a sweater or a cute blouse. Although they might not be able to see your whole outfit, just make sure you look presentable!

What’s so great about all these looks is that at night you can take your jacket off or throw on a cute pair of heels and you’ll be set for a fun night out in the city.
