School is coming sooner than we think, and as fun as it’s going to be to see our sisters and friends again, we do need to get some work done! Here is my list of things you need to have to rock your back to school.
I’m not a fan of backpacks, I think they ruin outfits and are simply unattractive. I also don’t understand how you could carry that much to class anyways, so I opt for cute purses to carry my notebooks and school supplies! While my go-to school bag is Kate Spade, I understand some people don’t want to pay that price for a school bag. Forever 21 has cute affordable bags retailing around 27$ showcased below in the black, H&M has bags around 40$ in neutral colors to fit any style, and my other favorite, no-fuss, go-to bag is Longchamp, for a lofty price, these totes will have to carrying anything you need for school in any size and color you want!
Sitting in class all day means to me I need a big cup of water or coffee to keep my awake and focused. My current favorite drink wear is the monogrammed bow tumbler off Etsy.com from the retailer TheGirlsinPink; it’s so cute to personalize your drink and you could even get it in your sorority letters to show your pride on campus. Another way to stay hydrated is to carry your school’s Tervis tumbler, they keep your drink hot or cold all day and they show your school pride! Lastly, a Starbucks thermal mug is a foolproof to stay caffeinated long into your late night meetings like my mug from their partnership with Alice and Olivia.
Agendas are my only sanity in life when writing for two on campus publications, attending sorority meetings, being a campus rep, and making time to hang out with friends. While most sorority women opt for a Lilly Pulitzer agenda, there are more affordable options, and also more trendy patterns to try! Lilly Pulitzer agendas retail around 28$, come with calendars and day-to-day planning in a variety of their patterns. This year I chose to do a Kate Spade agenda, as mentioned above I’m quite the Kate addict; I purchased it for 28$, it came in four patterns, a calendar, and a day-to-day planning as well-being in a more neutral palate. Without breaking the bank, you can purchase a simple planner from a bookstore on campus like this Five Star planner that retails about 10$. Any combination of these three items will have you back to school in high style!
