Moving into your chapter’s house can be one of the best memories you have in your college days. You get to live with your sisters and get to create some really great times. However, something not to over look though is how you decorate your own space.
If I’m being honest I know that I have WAY to many clothes and jewelry and shoes to fit comfortably in anything but the walk-in closet I have at home, so making my space comfortable, unique, and organized were my goals while decorating my room in the Chi Omega house at CSU. Our particular house has so many great things to offer like the spacious closets and dressers, but also each room has its own pegboard to decorate to your own liking (I will do another post about all of our boards later)!
Things like using some pegboard space to hang necklaces and hanging rope lights to add extra lights are easy functional choices you can make to make your room more comfortable and functional. My roommate and I also decided to hang a tapestry over our closet so that we can hide our clothes if need be. Finally, fun little unique things like hanging posters and records on the walls and adding a patterned rug from the salvation army made my room complete. I am so excited to be moved into what truly is the house of my dreams.
