A common tradition at Colorado State is for Bigs, Littles and Grandlittles to receive matching billboard letters for initiation. Not only do we all love this tradition because we get a new pair of letters, but the only people that have the same ones are the sisters we are closest to, our sorority family. In honor of Chi Omega initiation occurring at the beginning of spring semester, I thought I would show how I switched up our family letters this year!
Don’t worry! I am not going on some crazy rant saying to ban all billboards because don’t get me wrong, they are still a very charming way to represent your chapter. I just wanted to think outside of the box and see what else we could do as a family. If you search Pinterest and Etsy as religiously as I do, it is clear that Chevron is the hottest pattern of the season. It is also clear that Frockets are the hottest thing to wear while repping your chapter. Within my Chi O family, we creatively combined the two trends to make our new family letters!
The best part is that they are so easy to wear! The family Frockets are easily combined with leggings (only if ordered a little oversize, no butts showing please!) or black skinnies along with your cutest pair of black Steve Madden boots or Sorel Snowboots. A preppy black cardigan is easy to layer for the chilly Colorado spring months! As the weather gets warmer, white bottom will look really cute with these shirts too. In most of our pictures, we are seen wearing white bottoms because we took these directly following the end of initiation.
It is so easy to combine today’s hottest trends with Greek apparel. Be open-minded to the possibilities and keep searching Pinterest and Wanelo like it’s your job!
