Chi Omegas love Northwestern football, and now that we’ve moved back on campus for fall quarter (finally), we can show off our purple pride in person. We always have a group of sisters meet at the house to take pictures and head over to Ryan Field together so we can watch the game together. Every year Xi chapter orders a shirt to wear to football games so we can show off our sorority pride while cheering on the Wildcats.
This year, we got black v-neck t-shirts inspired by the NFL logo that say “NU Chi O”. I love these new shirts because they are so cute for game days, but they are versatile enough for everyday wear. Many sisters also chose to wear the purple jersey we ordered last year or a spirit jersey.
Jeans are a game day must in Evanston, but there are so many ways to accessories with our football shirts. Some sisters chose to paint their faces; I even decided to wear a pair of cat ears! Sunglasses and jackets are never a bad idea to bring to a game, and caps or bows are also fun ways to add a little spirit and personality to an outfit.
Our game day looks take cues from our school colors, our school mascot, and our sorority. I am so excited for a season of football with my sisters. Go ‘Cats!
