Jeans are the epitome wardrobe staple, but some days they just seem so boring. I love mixing things up with colored jeans on occasion, but the fun colors significantly limit my outfit options. I longed for some perfect combination that brought the personality of my colored jeans into my classic blue jeans. This year as I was doing some back-to-school shopping, I discovered the jeans of my dreams: jeans in traditional washes with subtle yet eye-catching patterns. The more I shopped, the more I found jeans that fit that criteria, and I eventually went home with three pairs.
First, I found these dark wash cheetah print jeans at the Gap. The pattern is a bit on the wild side, the dark colors are subdued enough for everyday wear. What an easy way to incorporate some animal print into an outfit!
Next I found these medium was jeans with a light floral pattern, also at the Gap. The pattern is so pretty, and these pants are one of my favorite things in my closet right now.
Finally, I found these gray jeans with tiny black polka dots at Banana Republic. The polka dots are cute and classic, and the gray color provides something different from a typical blue that still goes with everything.
I love these pants because they are just as versatile as regular jeans, but they add a little something more to any look. These fun, easy-to-wear jeans can be dressed up or down, and provide a low risk way to mix up your everyday style. Polka dot jeans are especially popular this fall, and while I prefer my printed jeans in basic blues and grays, printed jeans are available in a variety of colors and patterns for you to try!
