It’s that time of year again: Sorority Recruitment. For schools big in greek life, this means 18+ hours of work for the work week before recruitment and then another tiring week after filled with googly eyed PNM’s coming through each house looking for the place where they feel comfortable enough to call home.
Throughout the first week most sororities spend it working on teaching chants, doing run throughs of how each girl is supposed to walk out to a PNM, but also this time is taken to have sorority sister bonding. This week, Mu Chapter at Mizzou had a sister bonding day in St. Louis. The first half of the day was used to go to the St. Louis to go to the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments. As a sorority we got to see where our money was going and see the good that Delta Gamma has brought to children and their families.
The second part of the day was open for our enjoyment. We enjoyed some awesome shopping down in the Loop and went out to lunch!
We all decided to wear our work week T-shirt on this day so we looked uniformed and we completely took over all the boutiques downtown buying new clothes for back to school!
