There’s no doubt that sorority girls love to take pictures, especially when they know they’ll be used to show during recruitment for all the lovely potential new members to see! So here are some dos and don’ts of taking these staged pictures to get the best out of the experience!
Do: Be excited and have fun taking the pictures! It may be hot outside, and you really don’t want to be there, but enjoy spending some time with your sisters and laughing!
Don’t: Be grumpy the entire time. It’ll show in the pictures and no one wants a potential new member to see these and think that you don’t love being around your sisters!
Do: Use a great camera. The quality of the camera really shows in the photos. At least one of your sisters or advisors has a great camera, ask them if they wouldn’t mind either taking the pictures themselves, or lending it to the chapter for the photo shoot!
Don’t: Rely on iPhone photos to capture everything, and don’t take just staged photos! Some of the best photos are the sweet candid moments between friends.
Do: Look your best! Wear cute clothes that look flattering on your body type and wear make-up that is appropriate for the time of day. Thick smokey eyes don’t look great at high noon, but cool, natural make up does! Play up your features!
