Bean boots are easy to style and so cute in the rain!
Lately there’s been an interesting trend popping up at schools throughout the south. It seems as though students have finally realized how awesome and practical L.L. Bean duck boots are! I’ve always been a big fan of these rain boots, I got my first pair when I was in elementary school, but after I outgrew them I forgot about how perfect they were for the rainy days we get here down south. When I came to school as a wide-eyed freshman, I caught Hunter fever, and all I wanted to wear were Hunter wellies, until recently, when I was reminded of my childhood favorites by a few fraternity guys wearing them to class in the rain.
Bean boots or duck boots, are so easy to style and extremely cute and comfortable. Unlike clunky Hunters, they can go from a rainy morning to a sunny afternoon and they aren’t too heavy and don’t look out of place! The first of two ways I’ve seen them worn recently is with a simple pair of skinny jeans tucked in and either a cute blouse or a comfy flannel shirt.
The next is with a classic pair of leggings, a sorority or fraternity t-shirt, and a rain jacket. Be sure not to forget a pair of chunky knit socks to wear under them also, to keep your feet warm, and look adorable! This is also my favorite way to wear my Bean boots because it’s comfortable and I don’t have to dress up too much.
