Every Big/Little pair has quite an interesting story. Whether you chose your Big/Little, or if you were randomly assigned, eventually your friendship will grow into a bond unlike anything else.
Yes, it’s cheesy and slightly embarrassing but the second you realize that you’re Big & Little everything changes.
Yes, their awkward snapchats practically force you to send an even more awkward one back. You basically bond over each other’s weirdness, which leads me to #3
They take pictures of you at your best and definitely take pictures AND videos of you at your worst. You learn to love it.
If you’re ever having a bad day/major dilemma, they know exactly what you need to hear even if you don’t want to hear it. “Yes, you probably should stay in tonight -considering you have an 8 am exam tomorrow…” Or the exact opposite, (see #5).
Whether it’s ordering food or convincing you to go out, your Big/Little always has your best interests in mind. (They will never tell you not to order food, btw.)
You take turns being the responsible one. “Mom” is a common term used to describe each other and often people question which one of you is actually the Little.
(Yes, I let my Big give me a flu shot…)
You have your go-to restaurants and know exactly which one is the perfect choice at all times. Chipotle? Chipotle.
You have no problem going over the top when it comes to your Big/Little. Decorating and crafting are exciting things. Especially if it includes boys delivering food or attaching a dolphin to your Little’s ceiling.
… And for the non-crafty Big/Littles, sending daily pictures of Zac Efron or Ryan Gosling will suffice.
Having to constantly apologize on behalf of your loudness is a normal thing. But who really cares because you’re the coolest Big/Little pairing and everyone knows it.
You know those people who ask a million questions? Yep. That’s your Big/Little. Whether it’s what time chapter starts or wanting to know every little detail about your new boy, expect at least 20 text messages in a row from them. At least.
They’re easily the best people you know and despite whatever you’re doing, you know you’d rather be with them. In conclusion, after so many unspeakable bonding moments they become your other half. That’s when you know you’ll never be able to get rid of them.
