Some of the Hardest Goodbyes… Are Not Really Goodbyes

I have had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people during my four years of college. Some, I call my best friends and some I call my sisters. I never realized how emotional it would be to go separate ways, until now, the week of graduation.

Many have already made grad school plans, many have jobs lined up and many still don’t have a clue what is going to happen next. But regardless, the friendships you make in college are truly a blessing.

I happen to have a great group of friends both within my sorority and out as well and I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do without having these people within a five minute radius. The impromptu Walmart trips, ordering pizza at 1 a.m, going to the bars on a random week night: the list is endless. These people have been there for me through the ups and the unmeasurable amount of downs and have still stuck around.

In high school, my friend group was shattered by a thing called senior year. In college however, this is not the case. These are the women who will be my bridesmaids. These are the women who will be god parents to my future children.

College has been a roller coaster, but it has all been worth it with great friends by my side. Bittersweet does not even begin to capture how I truly feel. I am so glad to see all my friends getting ready for that next chapter in their life and I know deep down, this is not goodbye.

Thanks to the such wonderful people I have come to know and love over the years. I’ll see you soon!
